Message Board Guidelines

1. Please do not use this forum to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, abusive, vulgar, hateful, obscene, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or which otherwise violates the law. Do not post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you. EmbracedByTheLight.com reserves the right to remove any messages posted, and to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.

2. This message board should be used for healthy discussion, not derision. Posters who habitually resort to the use of obscene or threatening language to the other posters of the forum, or to the moderators, may find themselves banned from participating. This is a privately owned and moderated board. In order to preserve an atmosphere in harmony with the spirit of Betty J. Eadie's writings, we reserve the right to delete any message and to do so without warning or explanation. The moderator's decision on any matters involving any and all forums at EmbracedByTheLight.com is final.

3. By posting your message, you agree to indemnify the owners, employees, agents and representatives of EmbracedByTheLight.com and to hold them harmless from any and all claims and liabilities (including attorneys fees) resulting from any material posted to the message board, or from any acts resulting from participants' use of it.

Message Board Help
REGISTERING and PASSWORDS
You may choose to register your name or nickname to prevent others from using it. Click the Register link and enter your name or nickname and whatever password you choose. Passwords are lowercase only. Press Register.

After registering, your name is protected and no one else may register it or use it on the message board. When you create a new message, you must enter your password in the space provided. Your name then appears in red on the message board, indicating that it is password protected and that your identity is genuine.

POSTING MESSAGES
To post a message click the large POST MESSAGE button or the New Message link at the top of the message board. Fill in your name or screen name (nickname), enter a subject (make it as brief as possible) and write your message in the large text box. Press Post Message.

To respond to a message, open that message and click the Post Followup button.

EMAIL ADDRESSES
Adding your email address (optional) when you create a new message makes it possible for other people to email you by clicking on your name (after opening your message). Your email address itself will not appear onscreen, making it impossible for automated web programs to find and harvest your address.

If you enter your address, you may select the "Notify me..." option by clicking the box provided. When you do, you will be notified automatically by email when someone replies to your message.
