First time users: The Sun Porch entry form may take a minute or longer to load. It loads automatically, you don't need to do anything. (If the entry form doesn't load, see below.) It will appear in the space beneath the sunflowers. When it loads, enter a name or an alias, a profile (optional), and then click "chat." A new window will open. Instructions: Once you've entered the Sun Porch, you may enlarge its window for better viewing. Type your message in the white space at the bottom of the screen and hit enter. The message will appear in the main chat window. Your name will not appear in front of your message, though everyone else in the chat room will see it. The names of other guests are listed in the right hand column. If yours is the only name, no one else is visiting the Sun Porch at that moment. Return again later. Lunch and evening hours are the busiest. Click a guest's name once to read his or her profile. Click twice to send a private message. Get more information by entering the Sun Porch and clicking Help. If the entry form doesn't load. You must use a Java-enabled browser for the Sun Porch to work. You should have no difficulties with Netscape Communicator 4.0 (or higher) or Internet Explorer 4.0 (or higher). Please update your browser and try the Porch again.
