Wishing You a Very Merry Christmas
by Betty J. Eadie

Dearest Friends,

I pray for a blessed Holiday Season for each of you and that your homes and hearts be filled with a Christmas overflowing with Christ’s love!

I pray also for those less fortunate, who suffer, sometimes alone. Many are away from families and yearn to be with them, such as our Service men and women. Please join with me in prayers for those alone this holiday season, for them to be comforted, fellowshipped and loved.

While in the presence of the Savior I was surrounded by his love and I felt his magnificent spirit. I noticed that I had a tiny bit of love also that blended with his, though my light was more of a desire for love. Each of us have within our being the ability to love, for we are children of our Heavenly Father and he has given each of us the capacity to love. I will never forget the sweetness of his voice and the warmth I felt as he said to me "Above all else, love one another." His message rings in my heart today and I still hear it ever so clearly, that the most important purpose each of us has here is to love one another.

Let us reach out to those around us and those who cross our path. Jesus said that there will always be the poor among us. Since he knows this, and God has special angels watching over them, their purpose must surely be to keep our hearts tender and open to giving. We can be confident that when we give in abundance and lend our energy, and prayers to others, that our growth and direction is connected to a higher plan that sheds light that may not other wise be seen.

God is pure love! He is the ultimate of love and he desires us to grow as he is. So, he sent us his son, Jesus, the Savior of our world, to teach us and show us how to love. As we share what we have been given, we are blessed to receive more—this is an eternal law! And we must accept God’s blessings – they are there and are ready to be poured upon us.

May Christ's love reach through each one of us where needed, to touch every broken and lonely heart with compassion and love.

Jesus taught that if there were to be peace on earth that it would be our responsibility. Peace is not outside our reality. Peace is generated from within each of us, but to become a reality we must allow it to flow from us to the rest of the world. So, “Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me.”

Let There Be Peace On Earth

Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me. Let there be peace on Earth, the peace that was meant to be.

With God as our Father, brothers all are we, Let me walk with my brother, in perfect harmony.

Let peace begin with me, let this be the moment now. With every step I take, let this be my solemn vow,

To take each moment and live each moment in peace, eternally. Let there be Peace on Earth, and let it begin with me.

Words and Music by Jill Jackson and Sy Miller, 1955

May the Light of Christ and his loving countenance radiate in your life during this time of remembering his birth and always!

My love and prayers are with you,
Betty

Something to Ponder

From the "Embraced By The Light: Prayers & Devotions for Daily Living,"
Entry for December 4th:

Sharing My Knowledge Keeps It Alive

When you receive love or knowledge, you pass it on, and thereby leave yourself open to receive again. If you hold on to it, you don’t leave room to receive; you don’t need it, because you don’t use it…Knowledge without revelation is dead; knowledge held on to goes nowhere and helps no one. But the knowledge that we reveal to others takes on a life of its own, and allows us to receive more knowledge to share.
The Awakening Heart - pages 206-207

Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Matthew 5:15

Thank you, Father, for showing me that, as I give, so I receive. Bless me to use and to teach the truths I have learned of you generously and with love. I want to be worthy to learn so much more. Keep my knowledge of you alive in me.

Affirmation: By all my actions I manifest my knowledge and love of God.

Thank you for visiting my web site, a site dedicated to God. Please join us often in love, in spirit, and in prayer. We seek to learn of heaven and of the divine worth of every soul; to strengthen spiritually and overcome fear and guilt; to find comfort for sorrow and grief and to understand the purpose of life and death—to know the Creator as our loving Heavenly Father. We desire to serve him, to walk in his light and by doing so, we learn to love one another, truly.

May His eternal love be felt by you always.

All my love,
Betty
