God Bless You
Throughout This New Year

Dearest Friends,

      I know from your email and letters that many are struggling during these times of economic distress. Now is when we must lean on our faith, garner new hope from our love of family and friends, and seek the guidance of God through prayer! May we also resolve to let our own light shine the very best that we can.

      While in heaven I was shown the Earth and all its people in turmoil. Yet I was blessed and found hope as I watched angels surround the world in demonstration of their love and great care of God’s creation. They sang beautiful songs using tones that created perfect vibrations which began to nurture and heal all that was ill in the world. I can still feel the expression of their purest love and concern. They are here now doing their part to heal our earth, let us do ours! And we do have a part.

      I have written an article for my new homepage specifically to begin the year 2011 and would like to invite each of you to read it. You will find there are simple efforts we can each make that will create powerful results, not only in our own lives, but in the lives of those around us.

      While I cannot respond to each email and letter, I do read them and hold you in my heart as I say a prayer for you. God loves you. You are his creation whom he perfectly formed in the womb of your mother. He knows the very number of hair on your head. He knows all your needs and he dearly, dearly loves you. He wants us to invite him into our lives and follow his will so that he can bless us!

Beginning our new year with prayer, a great way to begin everything!

Heavenly Father,

As we begin this new year we look back on all that we have accomplished, endured and overcome that brings us to this point in our lives. Bless us, Father, with awareness and insight that we might learn from it all, and make choices through the next year that will draw us closer to you and help us lift those around us.

Bless our families, Father, strengthen them. Bless our loved ones and guide us that we might see your hand in our lives, that we might walk with a sure step having a firm foundation of trust in your love and truth in all that we do.

Place your spirit within the hearts of our world leaders and bless them to feel your divine presence and turn to you for direction. Heal the spirit of our earth, and help us to become responsible for our treatment of her.

We love you Father! And we pray for these blessings in the name of your beloved son, Jesus Christ, amen.

Spiritual Laws Bless My Life

The knowledge gained from a broken spiritual law can be a gift which eventually blesses many people. But for it to change us, the lesson must be internalized and understood. Then that foundation of understanding can help us to avoid further mistakes and violations of spiritual laws. The Ripple Effect - page 36

I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me…O how love I thy law! It is my mediation all the day…Through thy precepts I get understanding… Psalms 119:93-104

Thank you, Father, for the knowledge I have gained from my mistakes. Through them, I can now internalize the importance of your higher laws and come to better understand them and desire to follow them in my life. Forgive me in my ignorance, and bless me with greater wisdom.

Affirmation: My mind is boundless and free to accept the precepts of God’s spiritual laws.
