My Spirit Has Ownership Of Its Flesh

Each spirit is given ownership of its flesh. While we live in mortality our spirit is to control the body, bringing its appetites and passions into subjection. Everything from with the spirit is manifested in the flesh, but the flesh and attributes of the flesh cannot invade the spirit against the will of the spirit—it is the spirit within us that chooses. It is the spirit which governs. (Embraced By The Light, p. 56.)

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (Romans 8:26, KJV)

Father, thank you for hearing the inner pleas of my spirit. My heart cries out for your love and blessings. Bless me to find the most effective balance between my flesh and spirit which promotes health in my body and brings peace and well-being to my mind.

My spirit governs my flesh in natural balance that manifests outwardly in grace and strength.
