I turned on the computer today and saw your email. So happy to see that you are being blessed. God we love you and you are in my heart and mind everyday. Prayers of blessings going out to you.
I am getting ready for some surguries for my heart again. I had a surgery on Feb. 1979 at UC San Fransisco. I have to have the same surgery repeated again. I have some nerves that have to be severed again so that my heart will not have so much electrical current and send me into A-Fib and V-Fib. I'm also getting a new defribillator/pacemaker. I go on May 22 to San Fransisco. I hope that they can possibly do both surgureis at once. I'm also having the bone spurs removed surgically. I'll be so happy not to have pain every day. And the stellate ganglia blockage and new defrib., will add more time to my life. I still have a purpose that I have not completed and I am waiting for God to give me that big shove.
Chester finally, was sent to a spinal surgeon, the same one that wanted to operate on him in 2005 and said it was a new injury. Well now it is to late. The surgeon said that Chester's back is beyond repair, it was so bad on the newest and most recent MRI. He told Chester that he could perform the surgery, but would probably only be 10% effective and 90% pain for the rest of his life. Chester told him he would be better of dead. All he has looked forward to was when they could fix his back and he could go back to work. He was excited about that possibility. Even with his daily pain he has kept himself busy everyday so that his body and mind do not become sedentary. Since the news, it seems that his whole attitude changed overnight. We went to another Workmen's Comp hearing today and his attorney is going to do all that he can for him. Some of the advocate attorneys surrounded him and could not believe the power that the defense attorneys, the park systems and the insurance wield. It has already caused them $1000's in fees so that one injured worker will not get his back fixed. One day they will experience the same thing.
Well, I better go. I also send lots of prayers and love in this message to others on the EBLT Board. I was never able to get onto the WAVES BOARD. I truly belong there. I have so much that I have learned and want to share. Sometimes the anwers that we seek are revealed through our pain and adversity.
