...I also want to REASSURE you that fighting off dark energy is a lot like fighting off colds. The only thing is, just as you feed your body and need nutrients, rest, and exercise to stay healthy, you MUST do the same for your spirit.
Feed your spirit positive material - uplifting books, positive spiritual music, and so on. Do NOT read, watch, or listen to material that is negative, depressing, judgmental, or condemning. The more you feed yourself goodness, the more you fill your subconscious mind with goodness, and your spirit.
Also, one psychic defense tactic is to ask yourself if there are any dark lines attached to you. If so, practice cutting them with whatever imagery works for you (e.g. scissors of light). You might even feel better after working at clearing the space around you - but you may need to keep doing this periodically.
Pray, pray, pray - but pray NOT in depression and despair, but hope and great gladness (or as close to those as you can get). God IS joy and love.
