I can't believe it has been ten years ago when I first met Betty J. Eadie. My friends and I were talking about the Women's Weekend Retreat that happened in Chapleau, Ontario.

One of my friends said it changed her Uncle's life and her father's life. She said major changes took place in their lives. She said her uncle still talks about his profound experience. It is an experience that one never forgets.

I often thought about those days of the Women's Weekend Retreat. How many lives have changed after that weekend. One or two may have totally denied themselves of the experience because I remember one of the women was angry. Probably today something has made a difference in her life but not that day.

I am in a different place today and I am happy. Even with a recent loss I know in my heart, my brother is being embraced into the light.

I am happy and that's what counts. Life is a continuous learning and I am growing spiritually. I am cleaning house as well.

I do understand about love now. Some lessons can be painful but it brings growth. I went through a painful moment recently but it didn't last long. I had expressed it, I processed it, I embraced it, shared it, and I had let it go. When all was finished it became clear in what I needed to do. I am happy for the lessons and the clarity. I no longer beat myself up and take the full blame. I take what belongs to me and my part in it. I leave the rest behind and I let go. Life is wonderful.
