Yes!
What it comes down to of course, are the motives & intentions of a person.
If one knowingly & deliberately causes grief & suffering, that person will most likely be a victim (eventually) himself/ herself!
You know, there are/ is grievous wolves out there, who are out to find fault in others, or their weakness, it is important to be aware of that.
