YOU WROTE..."Look at Leona Helmsley. She acumulated wealth but yet treated people unfairly. The simple answer for me has to be no, we don't reap what we sow."

I found it interesting that our perception allows us to think that when someone rich, but is mean and nasty and gets away with all sorts of mean and nasty things in this life, and yet retains their wealth and wealth of status, we feel that Karma has let us down some way.

And when the kind old street lady dies in poverty but is always kind and good, she has not gotten her just rewards. We feel that Karma has let us down in some way, too.

Maybe telling ourselves that money, power and riches equals good Karma and lack of money, no power and little material possessions equals bad Karma, is in itself a telling thing.

Maybe we should think about how we are thinking. Maybe our perspectives and our beliefs about money, power and wealth, tell us alot about how we view bad times as a punishment. A curse from God.

I know that I am one who things that way. I am guilty of this belief system. Am I to expect rewards and to expect God to see that I am good by allowing me the fruits of my good Karma?

The inner rewards of being good and kind, don't seem to be enough in this world. I want to be rewarded. Isn't the good rewarded by God. Wasn't Job rewarded after being tested?

We want to drive that Ferrari and want to shop in Beverly Hills. We want friends that are rich and famous to verify who we are.

When someone who is bad wins the lottery, we are disgusted. Why did that happen to this jerk when there are so many deserving people who lead good lives and are good people, with good hearts?

Just seems interesting to think about...food for thought.
