The Lucky One

When I was up in heaven, looking down on the earth below,
I noticed this incredible person full of love, with a beautiful glow.
I was drawn to her in an instant, wondering who would be the lucky one
whom God would send down very soon to be her loving son.

Christ then came upon me, he said, "My son, I agree...
This beautiful spirit know as Betty is very special to me.
She will embark on her sacred mission that is soon to be...
She will go out amongst the others and teach them to love unconditionally!
She will teach them faith and forgiveness and the power of prayer that's so right...
She will do this with her inspired writings in a book called, 'Embraced By The light!'"

I said, "Lord what a beautiful message that soon she would share...
If there was anything I could do to help her when I was there,
I would be there in a moment to help her share her message of love
That you have bestowed upon her from here, up above."

He said, "She'll need a solid foundation, a strong and loving family, that's true..."
He looked around amongst us angels and said, "Jeffery, that someone is you."
I hugged my Heavenly Father. I couldn't believe I was the lucky one...
I was soon to join this wondrous woman and be her newborn son.

And as I left for my journey to earth, Christ spoke down from above...
He said, "Tell your mother that I'll always be there, and give her all my love."
